“For law enforcement, if your’e in a gun fight, speed and accuracy are the two shooting fundamentals that matter most, so that’s what our training classes focus on. We don’t say practice makes perfect. We say deliberate practice makes permanent. 

Seeing my reaction times and split times go through the roof on Ace VR was insane! I’d say helping you get a faster first round on target by reducing the reaction time of “shoot / no-shoot” decision making is one of the things it really does well. This week, we sat down with World Champion and Team Beretta shooter JJ Racaza. As an early Ace member and ambassador, we wanted to take in all we could and share with you his unique story, insights and tips from his training routines, the drills he likes, and what it’s like to shoot at such a high level. 

This week, we sat down to talk with John Keys, a Marine veteran and co-founder of Guns Out TV platform, a growing YouTube channel about gun culture and lifestyle for firearms operation and ownership. We wanted to get his take on using Ace Virtual Shooting as a handgun training tool, and what skills transferability he sees using it versus a traditional dry fire training system.

This week, we sat down with Ace Founding Player Matt Little, known online as Greybeard, to chat about his background in Army Special Forces Green Beret and Chicago Police. This week, we caught up with Justin from Controlled Pairs Gaming to find out how Ace supports his training and skill development goals, and how he sees skills gained from dry fire training systems translate to real life and live fire. Justin runs the popular YouTube channel Controlled Pairs Gaming, with nearly 150,000 subscribers, as well as the Controlled Pairs training channel focused on firearms training, drills, and competition shooting. 

Justin’s background is in shooting; he served in the US Army for 12 years and was an infantry officer by trade. His first 10 years were in Special Ops, and then he moved into the simulations arena. Currently, he’s a graduate student focusing on how simulations and skills development in realistic simulators impact human performance.

Continuing with our Ace Shooter Spotlight Q&A series, this week we had a chat with Tim Herron, from Tim Herron Shooting. Tim is a renowned firearms instructor, trainer, and coach. He travels around the country providing single and multi-day performance and defensive shooting classes and clinics. He’s also an avid Ace shooter! 

We had the chance to sit down with Neil Weidner from the popular YouTube channel Active Self Protection and an active Ace Club Member, to chat about his experience using Ace over the last several months. Neil’s primary motivation for his training is self defense tactics.
